New RadioPharmacy Isolators for The Royal Marsden Hospital

Amercare have recently completed a major project in providing four new Radiopharmacy isolators for The Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton.

The purchase of these units was funded by The Institute of Cancer Research.

The isolators supplied are bespoke units designed in conjunction with the customer to meet their exact requirements. Whilst based around standard designs they incorporated features to provide the users with additional radiation protection in the form of moveable body shields.

Other features include the facility to monitor both viable and non-viable particles, automated leak testing of the critical work zone, LED lighting for reduced energy consumption, integrated CCTV PZM Cameras for viewing critical work zones from the preparation room, and a hinged shelf for the particle counters when in use.
