Isolators Tailored for PET Dispensing

PET radiopharmaceuticals require strict aseptic preparation alongside effective radiation protection for operators. Designed for optimum dose reduction and efficient dispensing operations, Amercare’s PET dispensing isolators combine both within a single integrated system tailored specifically for PET dispensing applications. Negative pressure containment, tailorable 360-degree interlocking lead shielding, and a pneumatically sealed environment helps protect operators from airborne contamination and radiation exposure. An optional integrated automated dose dispenser reduces manual handling by automating syringe and vial filling, helping minimise operator dose. To support the fast-paced demands of short half-life radiopharmaceuticals, the isolator can also incorporate an accessible foot-operated dose calibrator dipper, real-time activity level display, and ball-mounted remote manipulator for safe, precise handling of high-activity materials.
