Gassing Isolators with Integrated Bio-Decontamination

Amercare Gassing Isolators (also known as VHP gassing isolators or vaporised hydrogen peroxide isolators) are designed to support Annex 1-aligned aseptic processes requiring validated automated bio-decontamination. Combining high-performance airflow control and containment with vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP) decontamination, they help maintain product integrity, operator protection and environmental control.

Gassing isolators can be supplied with a fully integrated VHP generator or configured for connection to an external freestanding unit, depending on facility and process requirements. Each isolator delivers closed-loop validated gassing cycles across individual sections or the entire system, allowing complete or targeted bio-decontamination to suit your workflow. High air change rate entry chambers enable rapid material transfer and validated gassing cycles in as little as 20 minutes, helping to maintain workflow efficiency while supporting contamination control and regulatory compliance.

Gassing Isolators Tailored to Your Operations

Integrated Bio-Decontamination

Supports annex 1-aligned processes

Unidirectional Airflow

Delivers clean air across the work zone

Gassing isolators are engineered to support critical processes where contamination control and validated, repeatable bio-decontamination are essential for safe and compliant operations. Whether you require a standard configuration or a fully tailored solution, our complimentary design service ensures your isolator is engineered in the optimal configuration for your facility and workflow.

They are widely used across applications including cell therapy, sterility testing, cytotoxic dispensing and centralised intravenous admixing (CIVAS), and can be fully adapted to meet your exact process and compliance requirements.

A wide range of configurations, accessories and integrated equipment options are available, allowing the system to be built around how your team works. This tailored approach improves operational efficiency, supports consistent decontamination performance and reduces workflow disruption by aligning equipment design with real-world use.

Gassing Isolator Options

Key Gassing Isolator Features

gassing isolator hinged open front

Fully Accessible Process Chamber

A hinged front panel allows for large items of equipment such as compounders, stirrers, balances etc to be moved in and out of the Process Section.

gassing isolator racking

Efficient Product Loading

Configurable racking and trolley options enable efficient presentation of loads both to the isolator transfer chambers and to the Port II’s hydrogen peroxide vapour chamber.

Controlled Waste Disposal

Lockable waste chutes and rigid pods or heat sealable bagging out systems enable the safe and controlled disposal of waste and contaminated materials.
